The nature of people has been categorized into three types: sattvic, rajasic and tamasic. The qualities of a sattvic person are kindness, loving and caring, peacefulness. A rajasic person is energetic, enthusiastic and eager to do lot of work to acquire name and fame. A tamasic person is generally lazy, dull, irritable and angry. Every human passes through these three modes of nature - sometimes we are dull and lazy, sometimes we want to do lot of work and at some other times we are calm and peaceful.
